Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month with AARP South Carolina at SC Pride’s OUTFEST on Saturday, June 6, in Columbia’s Vista.
AARP South Carolina is proud to join the community for SC Pride’s OUTFEST, a one-day Pride Month celebration bringing together local vendors, community organizations, live entertainment, resources and fun activations.
Hosted by South Carolina Pride, OUTFEST will take place Saturday, June 6, 2026, on the 1100 block of Park Street in Columbia’s Vista. The event is one of SC Pride’s signature celebrations and is expected to welcome thousands of attendees for a day of visibility, connection and celebration
AARP South Carolina will be on-site from 1 to 7 p.m. to connect with attendees, share helpful resources and celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month with the community.

This year marks the 12th year of OUTFEST, which brings together people from across the Midlands and beyond for a day of Pride, community and celebration. Attendees can enjoy local vendors, fun activations, community resources, organizations, food and drinks available for purchase, and live music performances throughout the day.

At our table, attendees can:

- Learn more about voting and civic engagement
- Get information about Social Security
- Connect with AARP South Carolina staff and volunteers
- Pick up helpful resources
AARP South Carolina will also share information about why Social Security is on the ballot and how voters can stay informed about the issues that affect their financial security. AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, and we provide information to help voters understand where candidates stand on issues such as Social Security.
About SC Pride and OUTFEST
South Carolina Pride hosts OUTFEST as part of its Pride Month programming in Columbia. The organization also hosts the Famously Hot South Carolina Pride Parade and Festival in October, which takes over Main Street in Columbia.
OUTFEST is designed to welcome anyone and everyone for a day of entertainment, community connection and celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Whether you are coming for the music, the vendors, the resources or the community, the event offers something for attendees of all ages and backgrounds.
