Giving Caregivers a Voice
At the heart of our Caregiving campaign is the Caregivers Couch, an inflatable couch that will pop up at locations across New York City, inviting unpaid caregivers to take a seat, put their feet up and share their stories.
For New Yorkers who spend so much of their time caring for others, the couch offers a rare opportunity to pause and have their own experiences heard. These conversations will put a human face on the often-invisible work of caregiving, from the everyday acts of love to the financial, emotional and professional sacrifices caregivers make.
