AARP Hearing Center
Grand Reopening of the AARP Louisiana Community Resource Center
Help welcome visitors, support events, and keep our New Orleans CRC running smoothly
AARP Louisiana invites you to celebrate the grand reopening of the AARP Louisiana Community Resource Center in New Orleans on Friday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Located at 3502 S. Carrollton Ave., the Community Resource Center is a welcoming space designed to bring people together for workshops, events, volunteer activities and meaningful community connection. Whether you have attended a program before or are visiting for the first time, the grand reopening is a chance to rediscover a place built for learning, service and connection.
The center serves as a hub for AARP Louisiana’s work in the New Orleans community, offering opportunities for older adults and their families to connect with resources, build relationships and take part in programs that support healthy, informed and engaged living.
You can RSVP to join us at the Grand Reopening HERE.
Volunteers Needed
AARP Louisiana is also seeking friendly, dependable volunteers to help support the day-to-day operations of the Community Resource Center.
Volunteers play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities may include greeting visitors, signing in participants for events, answering phones, filing, organizing and restocking supplies, preparing the conference room for programs and assisting with light computer work.
As one of the first faces visitors see when they enter the center, CRC volunteers help set the tone for every workshop, event and community gathering. A welcoming smile, a helpful spirit and a willingness to be part of a team can make a lasting difference.
If you enjoy working with people, staying organized and supporting programs that strengthen the community, AARP Louisiana would love to welcome you as a CRC volunteer. Your time and talents help us deliver meaningful programs and services for older adults and the New Orleans community.
