The award recognizes Georgians who use their experience, talents, and compassion to improve the lives of others and embody AARP's vision of helping people age with dignity, purpose, and opportunity.

Nominees do not need to be AARP members or AARP volunteers. Married couples or domestic partners who volunteer together may be nominated jointly, but team nominations are not eligible.

Nominations may be submitted by AARP members, volunteers, chapters and units, community organizations, or any member of the public. If you know someone whose selfless service is creating lasting change, we encourage you to nominate them for this prestigious recognition.
