AARP Connecticut is recruiting volunteers who are ready to make a difference and have fun. Connecticut needs volunteers who are ready to help prevent fraud, stand up for residents and consumer protections, strengthen communities, educate voters, and more. We invite you to an informational session with free lunch and admission at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo where you will hear from AARP volunteers and staff, have a chance to ask questions, and enjoy a free lunch and admission.

Daring Skies: The Story of Early Stunt Pilots by AARP Webinar Wednesdays

Free Admission to the New Britain Museum of American Art

You are invited to register for up to two free tickets, while supplies last, to AARP Connecticut Day at the New Britain Museum of American Art on September 17 where you and a guest can enjoy a self-guided tour of the country’s first museum dedicated to American Art. In addition, guests can enjoy a health and wellness fair with local vendors and live music while visiting. Members are limited to two tickets and registration is required. You must include all guest information to guarantee two tickets. Guests must select between two arrival times when registering but are welcome to enjoy the Museum until closing at 8 p.m.

It’s AARP Connecticut Day at the Mystic Seaport Museum!

Take advantage of this special offer while supplies last: register to purchase up to two general admission tickets to Mystic Seaport Museum for only $5 each, a substantial discount from regular admission, for a visit in September or October. Each registered guest will receive a ticket voucher from AARP Connecticut and enjoy museum admission for just $2 per person - a $16 savings off general admission. As part of your visit, the museum will also be hosting a free D-Day presentation at 10:00 a.m., offering a special opportunity to learn more about one of the most significant events in World War II. We encourage guests to arrive early and take advantage of this engaging program. Guests will pay the $2 admission fee directly to the museum upon entry. Children under 3 years of age are free.
