AARP Colorado to offer caregiving workshops, Pit Stops this fall

AARP Colorado is offering support and events this fall in recognition of National Family Caregivers Month and in support of the state’s million-plus caregivers.
“This fall’s caregiving events recognize the challenges new family caregivers face, as well as provide resources and chances for Coloradans on their caregiving journeys to consider their own wellness,” Dayton Romero, AARP Colorado director of community engagement, said.

AARP Colorado will offer Caregiver Connections workshops and Care Pit Stops in Colorado Springs and the Denver Metropolitan Area.
The workshops are designed to help caregivers (or soon-to-be caregivers) gather practical information, resources, and tools to prepare, plan, and find support for their and their loved ones’ caregiving journey.
Care Pit Stops are designed for caregivers on the go and with little time for themselves. Sign up, drive through, and pick up caregiving resources, wellness tools, and more, all designed to make caregiving easier – without leaving your car.
