In 2024, AARP, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, awarded nearly $275,000 to 12 projects offering promising solutions to strengthen and diversify the nursing workforce through innovative nurse recruitment and retention strategies that establish and sustain healthy work environments. The grant period was July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.
