Here’s how it works.

How much money can you get?

You can claim up to $10 if you have proof that you used a CVS website or app before July 27.

The settlement website says that proof can include your browser history, a screenshot showing a date or an email receipt from an online purchase.

Don’t have any of that? You can still claim up to $5 without providing proof that you used a CVS website or app before the cutoff date.

Only one claim is allowed per household.

The $5 and $10 payments are not guaranteed. The amount you receive could be less, depending on how many people file valid claims and how much money is available after settlement expenses are paid.

How do you file a claim?

You can file a claim online at the official CVS Digital Privacy Settlement website.

If you received a settlement notice, you can use the included login ID and PIN. If you didn’t receive a notice, you can still file a claim online if you believe you qualify. If you do nothing, you will not get any money back.

Online claims must be filed by Nov. 16, 2026. Mailed claims must be postmarked by the same date.

When will you get paid?

The court is scheduled to consider final approval of the settlement on Dec. 1.

If the settlement is approved, payments will be sent 120 days after final approval and after any appeals are resolved.

You can choose to receive your payment through PayPal, Venmo, Zelle or by check. Checks must be cashed within 180 days of issuance.

Class actions are legal procedures that allow one or a small number of plaintiffs to pursue a case on behalf of a larger group or class of people. Attorney fees reduce the overall settlement amount. While many are legitimate, some class action settlement notifications are fronts for scams and fraud.
