Learn about a 2025 AARP Community Challenge project in Albuquerque, New Mexico

LOCATION: Albuquerque, New Mexico

GRANTEE: Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity

Initially funded by AARP to complete 10 home maintenance and improvement projects, Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity leveraged additional local support to deliver a total of 32 home repair and accessibility upgrades. Staff and volunteers focused on exterior repairs as well as installing ramps to help residents safely enter and exit their homes.
