You made the tax deadline — you deserve a treat
Whether you paid Uncle Sam or he paid you, the tax deadline is behind you. As a reward, many national chains are ramping up the savings so you can treat yourself and celebrate the end of tax season. Here’s where you can find tax day deals and freebies on April 15.

On April 15, diners who purchase an Original Glazed or Assorted dozen will receive a second Original Glazed dozen for the price of the sales tax in their state. There’s a two-dozen limit for in-store purchasers, and those ordering from the website or app for pickup or delivery have a limit of one.
Shipley Do-Nuts
Loyalty members with a sweet tooth can buy a half dozen doughnuts and get another half dozen for free. Sign up for the loyalty program online and find a location near you.
White Castle
Customers can get 15 percent off their online orders on Monday using the code WC15OFF. Craver Nation members have an additional deal through April 16: Buy one, get one combo free when ordering through the app.
TGI Fridays
Fridays Rewards members can receive a free entrée with the purchase of an entrée of equal or lesser value through April 30. The casual dining chain is also helping customers take the edge off on tax day and through the end of the month with a new margarita, The Tax Break, for $7. The restaurant’s happy hour menu also features $5 bites and beverages.
Grubhub
Grubhub is offering a promotion for the first 1,000 customers on tax day. Diners with delivery orders worth $25 or more can use the code TAXBREAK to get $15 off.
Potbelly
Receive a free Original sandwich with the purchase of any Original or Big Sized sandwich. Order online or on the Potbelly app and use the code BOGO on April 15. New Potbelly Perks rewards members who download the app can get a free Original sandwich after their first purchase of $5 or more.
Paris Baguette
Rewards members can indulge in a free pastry with the purchase of any beverage on April 15. Sign up for the rewards program and find a location near you.
California Pizza Kitchen
If you signed up for the perks program by tax day, you can receive $10 off an order of $40 or more. The deal is automatically added to your rewards account. The offer is valid for both dine-in and takeout except in Hawaii, Guam, airports, stadiums, the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, or international locations.
Noodles & Company
Rewards members can get $4.15 off any purchase over $24. Through the end of the month, members can also get any dessert for $1 with the purchase of any entrée.
Sonny’s BBQ
Get 50 percent off the St. Louis Rib Dinners. The dinner includes your choice of Sweet & Smokey or House Dry-Rubbed ribs, two sides and either cornbread or garlic bread. The final price depends on your location. The restaurant has locations throughout eight states in the South.
Kona Ice
A shaved ice truck may be heading your way. On tax day, Kona Ice wants taxpayers to “Chill Out” and grab a free shaved ice. Find a truck near you.
Hooters
Customers at Hooters locations nationwide who buy 10 wings on tax day can get another 10 wings, any style, for free. Hootclub Rewards members can also dig into a free dessert up to $6.99 in value on April 15.
Great American Cookies
Stop by a participating Great American Cookies location for a slice of chocolate chip cookie cake. When you purchase one, you can get one free.
Fazoli’s
Get six free breadsticks with a minimum purchase of $5. Use the code Tax24 when ordering online. Find a location near you.
Round Table Pizza
Customers can get 15 percent off an order of $40 or more. Find your nearest location.
