Founded in 1925, the Children’s Museum has grown to 472,900-square feet, making it the largest children’s museum in the world. Its mission - To create extraordinary learning experiences across the arts, sciences, and humanities that have the power to transform the lives of children and families – is delivered upon in several ways.
The museum is home to more than 120,000 artifacts. And, the numerous exhibits allow for children and families to have an educational, interactive and fun experience. More than one million visitors come through it every year.
“This is a great opportunity for AARP members to take their grandchildren to the Children’s Museum at a discounted price,” said June Lyle, AARP Indiana state director. “So, when the grandkids ask about things to do as the weather turns cooler, you’ll already have a plan in place!”
During the month of September, simply present your AARP membership card at the museum box office when purchasing tickets, and get 20% off the price of your admission.
