Pilates Anytime: Release and Mobilize for Energy

Class 5 of Amy Havens' Spine Health series focuses on getting rid of tension

Video run time is 30 minutes.
COURTESY PILATES ANYTIME

Welcome to the fifth class of instructor Amy Havens' Spine Health series, from Pilates Anytime, an online streaming platform.

In this 30-minute Pilates class, Amy will demonstrate how — starting from the feet — you can use a tennis ball to roll out tension with a variety of motions, such as pressing, rolling and flushing. With ease, you will move up to your calves to create even more mobility in the lower body. The session ends with movement to release your shoulder blades. This class is restorative, and you will walk away from it feeling refreshed and energized.

Please consult your physician before beginning any exercise program.
