Older Voters in the 2026 Midterm Elections in Battleground States

AARP commissioned a highly-rated bipartisan team of pollsters from Impact Research (D) and Fabrizio-Ward (R) to conduct polls of likely voters in states with the most competitive Senate and gubernatorial races. In addition to voters’ motivation to vote and their candidate preferences, these surveys identify the issues that voters will have in their minds when they make their voting decisions in November. The surveys will also assess support for policies that affect issues of importance to voters age 50 and older, such as family caregiving, Social Security, Medicare, and prescription drug prices.
