A Pickleball Event with Purpose
Enjoy pickleball, community, and refreshments while supporting local health care.
Grab your paddle and join Diversity & Inclusion In Pickleball (DIIP) and Tubman Center for Health & Freedom for an afternoon of pickleball, community and purpose. The event will support the construction of Tubman Health Center’s third and largest clinic in Rainier Beach.
Players of all skill levels are welcome to enjoy friendly play, meet new people and help advance access to health care in the community. Free bites and refreshments will be provided by AARP Washington.

When: Saturday, September 12, 2026
Where: Rainier Beach Courts, 8826 46th Ave. S., Seattle, WA
Who: Spectators welcome; all genders welcome; ages 12+
Schedule
12–2 p.m.: Free beginner and novice clinic hosted by Diversity & Inclusion In Pickleball. No registration is required for the clinic.
2–5 p.m.: Round-robin FUN-Raiser featuring a friendly rotating-partner format.

- Friendly rotating-partner format
- Best suited for self-rated skill levels of approximately 2.5–4.0
- Limited to the first 50 registered players
- $50 per player; registration required

This community pickleball event brings together players, spectators and local partners to raise support for expanded health care access in Rainier Beach, with beginner-friendly instruction, casual play, food and refreshments.
