Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) is now happening in the District. Click here to learn how to cast your ballot.

AARP DC is committed to ensuring voters across the District are prepared to vote and informed of where candidates stand on issues of importance.

Using AARP research and survey data, AARP DC created a questionnaire for all candidates listed on the ballot for the US House Delegate, Mayor and At-Large Council races to share their vision. We asked them questions about the issues that matter most to older District residents, their families, their caregivers, and their providers.

Click the boxes below to view how the candidates would address issues from Social Security and Caregiving to housing, transportation and health disparities. Read through the candidate’s responses and use that information to inform your vote on, or before, June 16!

Note: Candidate's responses were limited to 500 characters per answer.
