Your experience and skills are valuable assets in today's workplace. But for many workers age 40 and older, age-related stereotypes and bias can still create challenges on the job. Understanding your rights is an important step toward recognizing discrimination, advocating for yourself, and protecting your career.

Join AARP and experts from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for a free virtual series designed to help older workers understand the protections available under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). Through engaging online conversations, participants will learn how age discrimination can appear in the workplace, what federal law protects, and what steps to take if they experience unfair treatment. Attendees will gain practical tools for recognizing discrimination and harassment, understanding their legal rights and identifying resources available through the EEOC.

More Ways to Benefit

Whether you are currently employed, searching for a new opportunity or planning your next career move, this series will help you better understand your workplace rights and the value that experienced workers bring to employers. Join AARP and the EEOC to gain knowledge, confidence and practical strategies for navigating today's workplace.
