Looking for fun ways to stay active, learn new skills, and connect with others this fall? AARP Lehigh Valley is offering a variety of recreational, fitness, and social opportunities designed for adults of all experience levels.
From pickleball clinics and social play to golf simulator experiences and introductory fitness classes, these programs provide a welcoming environment to improve your skills, try something new, and meet fellow AARP members. Browse the opportunities below and register for the individual events that interest you. Space is limited for many programs, so early registration is encouraged.

Pickleball 101: Learn the Basics
New to pickleball? Pickleball 101 is designed for beginners and those with little to no experience. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the game, including rules, scoring, serving, court positioning, and basic gameplay in a fun, supportive environment.

Pickleball 201: Improvers Play & Learn
Ready to build on the basics? Pickleball 201 is designed for players who already know the fundamentals and are looking to improve consistency, movement, shot placement, and strategy. Guided coaching and supervised play help participants continue developing their skills in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
Recommended for players who have completed two or more beginner sessions.

Pickleball 301: Advanced Play & Strategy
Designed for high-intermediate and advanced players, Pickleball 301 focuses on the strategic and technical skills that elevate competitive play. Participants will work on shot selection, third-shot strategies, transition play, resets, court positioning, doubles communication, and match tactics through advanced drills and coached play.

Pickleball Socials
Looking to improve your game and meet new people? Our Pickleball Socials combine instruction and organized play with time to connect with fellow AARP members. Participants can choose from Pickleball 101, 201, or 301 breakout sessions before joining skill-based games and social activities.
Following the on-court activities, everyone is invited to stay and socialize at Court 25. Whether you participated on the courts or simply want to connect with the AARP community, all members are welcome to attend the social gathering.
Participation in the pickleball portion is limited to 30 players.

AARP Rally Social
Looking for a little friendly competition? The Rally Social features ladder-style pickleball play, skills challenges, and organized matchups against players of similar ability levels.
As participants win matches, they move up the ladder. Losses move players down, creating balanced and competitive matchups throughout the event. Skills competitions offer additional chances to test your abilities and compete for bragging rights.
Participation is limited to 30 players.

Sweet Spot Golf Simulator Experience
Experience golf in a whole new way at Sweet Spot Golf Simulators. These introductory sessions are designed for golfers and non-golfers alike, providing an opportunity to try state-of-the-art golf simulation technology in a fun, social, and climate-controlled environment.
In addition to golf simulation, participants can enjoy activities such as bocce, shuffleboard, and other movement-based games. No golf experience is required. Please wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes or sneakers for this experience.
Maximum participants per session: 12.

Move Studio Experience
Discover new ways to move and stay active during this introductory experience at The Move Studio at St. Luke's SportsPlex. Participants will take part in a 45-minute, low-impact class featuring flexibility, mobility, light strength training, and gentle chair yoga.
Guests will also learn about additional offerings at The Move Studio, including rhythmic cycling, Reformer classes, MAT+, sculpt, yoga, and more. Please bring sports shoes or tennis shoes and wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement.
Maximum participants per session: 20.

Before You Attend
- Wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes suitable for movement.
- Bring a water bottle.
- For pickleball sessions, bring your paddle if you have one. Demo paddles may be available.
- Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
