Field of Heroes Memorial Honors Fallen Oklahomans Memorial Day Weekend
The powerful tribute transforms the park into a solemn place of remembrance and offers a powerful visual reflection of the true meaning of Memorial Day.
The Field of Heroes Memorial returns Memorial Day weekend to honor Oklahomans who died while serving in the U.S. military. Sponsored by AARP Oklahoma, the memorial will change venues for 2026. Please join us at the new location: Broken Arrow Veterans Park, 1117 S. Main Street, Broken Arrow.
The Field of Heroes Memorial features rows of military boots, each representing an Oklahoman who lost their life in service.
Event Dates and Schedule
The Field of Heroes Memorial will take place over Memorial Day weekend 2026:
- May 22: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; dedication ceremony at 2 p.m.
- May 23: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- May 25: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
