“Top Gun,” an iconic 80s film, is taking flight under the stars at Guthrie Green on May 21. AARP Oklahoma invites you to a free outdoor movie screening of the blockbuster classic starring Tom Cruise as Maverick.
Before the sun goes down and “Top Gun” lights up the big screen in this open-air experience, we’ll have Maverick-worthy activities and giveaways.
- The first 200 moviegoers will score free popcorn, so arrive early to grab your spot (and your snack).
- Attendees will have a chance to win Maverick‑style aviator sunglasses, plus other fun giveaways throughout the evening.
- Think you’ve got the right stuff? Test your skills in a paper airplane contest, with prizes on the line for top performers. Bragging rights included.
This event is free and open to the public, so grab your wingman, bring a blanket or lawn chair, and join AARP Oklahoma for a night of nostalgia, friendly competition, and classic movie magic.
You don’t need to be an AARP member to attend. Just bring your love of great movies, good vibes, and maybe a need for speed.
