Engage with Oklahoma Lawmakers at 2026 Senior Day at the Capitol
Senior Day at the Capitol gives older Oklahomans a unique opportunity to meet with state legislators and discuss issues that matter to residents age 50-plus. AARP Oklahoma will be on-site in the second‑floor rotunda to welcome attendees and provide helpful resources.
Participants are encouraged to visit https://oklegislature.gov/ before the event to identify their state representative and senator so they can plan visits with their lawmakers.
Event: Senior Day at the Capitol
Date: March 30, 2026
Time:
- 8:30 AM – Exhibitors open on the 2nd Floor Rotunda
- 10:00 AM – Gather in the House Chamber 4th Floor west side to hear from lawmakers. Attendees may sit in House Chamber seats or the observation Gallery, as space allows.
- 12:00 PM – Continue visiting legislators’ offices and exhibitors.
Location: Oklahoma State Capitol
Oklahoma City Parking & Entrance: The Capitol is open to the public on weekdays. Visitors are encouraged to use the south entrance and allow additional time for security screening.
