Calling All Family Caregivers: Shawnee Sound Bath Series

Family caregiving can be stressful, and AARP wants to help.

Story Blocks

AARP Oklahoma is hosting a series of free sound bath events from July through September at the Shawnee YMCA, 700 West Saratoga Street.

This one-hour mediation experience, led by Joe Holcomb, uses relaxing sounds of singing bowls, chimes and a gong to immerse participants in deep relaxation.

More Ways to Benefit

Those who attend also get the chance to win a $50 gift card and the opportunity to request a free kit with resources for family caregiving.
