Slow Down and See More: Photo Exploration Walk
Saturday, June 6 | 1–3 p.m.
Rocky River Nature Center | North Olmsted
Step into the beauty of Northeast Ohio’s park system during a relaxed Photo Exploration Walk. This guided experience is designed to help you slow down, notice the details around you, and spark creativity—whether you’re using a smartphone or a camera.
Led by an experienced volunteer photographer, you’ll learn simple tips for framing a shot, practice mindful observation, and explore the park at an easy pace. After the walk, participants will share favorite photos and celebrate unique perspectives.
No photography experience or special equipment is required. The walk will be less than two miles and may include mild hills or uneven terrain. Wear comfortable clothing and close‑toed walking shoes.
Think Fast and Win Big: Health and Wealth Trivia
Wednesday, June 17 | 6–8 p.m.
Fat Heads Brewery | Middleburg Heights
Put your knowledge to the test at Health and Wealth Trivia, a fast‑paced, laugh‑filled evening that mixes fun with learning. Hosted at Fat Heads Brewery, this interactive trivia night covers topics that affect us all—from health and financial resiliency to retirement planning. Whether you’re a trivia regular or just looking for a reason to gather friends for a fun night out, this event delivers friendly competition, finger foods and fun prizes, including VISA gift cards for top scorers. Players will use an interactive online platform, so a smartphone or web‑enabled device is required. Space is limited and registration is required. If you’re bringing a guest, they must be registered as well.
Take a Step Toward Better Health: Walk with a Doc
Saturday, June 20 | 10–11 a.m.
Gunning Park Recreation Center | Cleveland
Walk with a Doc is a welcoming, community‑focused walking program that combines movement with learning. Each session begins with a brief talk from a physician, followed by a relaxed walk where participants can ask questions and connect.
This monthly series helps you get moving, learn about current health topics, and build social connections that support both physical and brain health. Walks take place rain or shine, indoors or outdoors depending on weather. Please note: the indoor track is located upstairs and is not accessible for individuals using mobility devices.
