New State Aging Plan Outlines Steps to Help Older Adults
North Carolina officials have issued a comprehensive plan for aging that outlines steps state agencies should take to meet the needs of the state’s growing older population.
The All Ages, All Stages NC blueprint calls for prioritizing home- and community-based services, increasing support for family caregivers, expanding housing options and strengthening the health care workforce, among other actions.
