Find Your Balance: Join the AARP New York Tai Chi Series
Looking for a gentle, effective way to improve your health and well-being? The AARP New York Tai Chi Series offers a welcoming space to relax, recharge, and reconnect with your body through the flowing movements of Tai Chi.
Tai Chi is often described as “meditation in motion,” combining slow, deliberate movements with deep breathing and mental focus. Whether you're completely new or have some experience, this series is designed to meet you where you are—helping to improve balance, flexibility, and overall mindfulness.
What to Expect:
Each session in this five-part series builds upon the last, guiding you through foundational techniques while gradually deepening your practice. Ray’s approachable teaching style makes it easy to follow along, offering helpful insights into posture, breathing, and movement. All classes are held via Zoom from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. ET, and participants can look forward to easy-to-follow instruction suitable for all levels, low-impact movements that are gentle on the joints, techniques to reduce stress and improve mental clarity, and a supportive, community-oriented environment.
