Celebrate summer at NJPAC’s Horizon Sounds of the City and don’t miss your chance to win exciting prizes from AARP New Jersey! Attendees are invited to participate in a free on-site sweepstakes by completing a quick entry form during the event.

Launched in 1998, Horizon Sounds of the City (SOTC), NJPAC’s free summer concert series, has become one of its most recognizable entertainment brands among a diverse and multi-generational audience in this region. Typically held on evenings in June, July and August from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., each concert opens with an up-and-coming musical artist, often local talent from the Greater Newark community, followed by a headliner. While the core of the audience is drawn from the Greater Newark area, the popularity of the series draws fans from across northern New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. Attendance at each concert can range from 500 to over 4,000.

Each event day, one (1) winner will be selected and announced live on-site to receive a $150 prize—choose between a stylish smartwatch or a Visa prepaid card. Winners must be present to claim their prize, adding to the energy and excitement of the night.

In addition, all entries across the promotion period are automatically entered for the grand prize drawing. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the ultimate NJPAC experience: dinner for two at NICO Kitchen + Bar followed by two tickets to a live NJPAC performance (ARV $668).
