This walking program is a fun & safe place to take a walk (at your own pace), learn tips from local healthcare professional, and meet new people. Events are FREE & all are welcome!

On the second Saturday of the month all walks start at 9 AM at Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor & Education Center
Boomers and Bikes:
Our Boomers and Bikes℠ program explores a different trail each month, April through November. Our cycling team will take care of everything – you just need to bring your bike, your helmet and your sense of adventure!
Check-in starts at 7:30 AM at Drost Park. The ride will start at 8 AM and end by 11 AM.
- July 18: MCT Trails – Dorst Park to Roxanna (IL)
- August 15: Katy Trail – Defiance to Augusta and Back
- September 12: MCT Trails – Horseshoe Lake State Park (IL)
- October 17: Chesterfield Trails
- November 14: MCT Trails – Glen Carbon Loop from Drost Park (IL)
Trail Trekkers:
Let’s hit the trail...Spend a Saturday morning with AARP in St. Louis on a guided hike.
Check in starts at 7:30 AM. The hike will start at 8 AM. Unless a different start time is provided.
Bring sunglasses, sunscreen and repellent. A hat, a hiking pole, and hard sole boots are also a good idea. In addition, everyone must bring their own supply of water - we will all need it!
