Nominations Open for 2026 Golden Hoosier Award
It’s time for the 2026 Golden Hoosier Awards! AARP Indiana is proud to continue its partnership with the Lieutenant Governor and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) to honor older Hoosiers who have made an impact in their community!
The Golden Hoosier Award is Indiana’s highest honor recognizing older citizens for their lifetime of volunteer service to their communities. The award is open to current Indiana residents age 65 and older who have volunteered in their community for the past three or more years.
Award recipients will be honored at a special ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse on September 2, 2026. The deadline to submit nominations is July 15, 2026.
