2026 AARP Indiana Andrus Award Nominations Now Open!

Ethel Percy Andrus

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 AARP Indiana Andrus Award for Community Service, AARP’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award.

The Andrus Award recognizes an outstanding Indiana volunteer, age 50-plus, who is making a powerful difference in their community. This individual should exemplify AARP’s purpose, vision, and commitment to volunteer service, as well as be an inspiration to others to become a volunteer. Additionally, AARP Indiana will make a $1000 donation in the winner’s name to a charity of their choice.*

More Ways to Benefit

If you have seen and experienced the impact that a dedicated, caring and experienced volunteer can have on lives, programs, communities, and society nominate them for the 2026 AARP Indiana Andrus Award for Community Service. The nominee does not need to be an AARP member or an AARP volunteer.

The nomination form is available at www.aarp.org/AndrusAward or by clicking here.

Deadline

Nominations must be received by the AARP Indiana office no later than August 31, 2026.
