What's Next for Hoosier Property Taxes?
We know that property taxes are critical to the well-being of our communities. But for too many of our neighbors, rising property taxes have threatened their ability to stay in their homes as they age.
During the 2025 session of the Indiana General Assembly, state leaders passed legislation that, beginning next year, creates a new property tax credit of 10 percent of a homeowner’s bill, up to $300. It also provides additional credits for older Hoosiers.
