Scams are constantly changing, but knowing what to look for can make all the difference. AARP Illinois is helping people stay informed through the Fraud Fighting Fraudlettes, a free monthly virtual series that offers practical information to help Illinoisans recognize scams, protect personal information and better understand the tactics criminals use. The series has explored topics ranging from identity theft and internet fraud to health care scams, travel safety, fraud legislation and more.

Hosted by AARP Illinois fraud experts Courtney Hedderman and Annetta Works Salley, the Fraudlettes bring real-world experience and straightforward fraud-prevention information to each conversation.
