2026 Alaska Federation of Natives Annual Convention

Details: The Alaska Federation of Natives Annual Convention is the largest representative annual gathering of Native peoples in the United States, serving as a forum for the Alaska Native community to address important public policy and government issues. November is National Family Caregivers Month, a time to celebrate the often-silent heroes who play a critical role in caring for their loved ones. To recognize the importance of approximately 125,000 caregivers in Alaska, AARP Alaska is hosting a coordinated “Caregiver Blitz” with events across the state to provide caregivers with resources and support.

Juneau Care Partners Summit and Resource Fair

Date: Wednesday, November 4, 2026
Time: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Location: Centennial Hall Convention Center, 101 Egan Drive, Juneau
Details: Join us for a friendly, uplifting day filled with connection, practical information and local support. Caregivers, family and veteran care partners, community members, and caregiver-support professionals are all welcome. Come as you are, meet others and discover resources that can help. Anchorage Movies for Caregivers: Ticket to Paradise
