Stats and Facts From the 2018 AARP Home and Community Preferences Survey

What people age 50+ think about where they live

It's been true in the past and — according to the 2018 AARP Home and Community Preferences Survey — it's true today. The majority of people age 50 and over want to remain in their current home and community. That's why AARP Livable Communities works with local leaders and residents nationwide to make communities more livable for people of all ages.  (The results shown here are excerpted from the 2018 edition of the free AARP bookazine Where We Live.
