With the often costly winter holidays right around the corner, everyone can use a discount. Here are deals that veterans, active service members and their immediate family members may be eligible for year-round.

While our previous guide identified clothing and retail discounts, this one highlights some of the best deals available from nationally recognized restaurants and electronics, home and entertainment brands.

Dining

Bonefish Grill. All service members, veterans and first responders can take 10 percent off their check every day.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Current and former service members can receive 10 percent off.

CiCis Pizza. A number of locations offer military discounts. Reach out to your local restaurant for more information.

Greene Turtle. Military members can take 15 percent off their bill.

Luna Grill. All active-duty and retired military service members and their spouses can take 10 percent off their purchase (excluding alcohol).

Melting Pot. Military personnel, firefighters, EMTs, police officers and one guest can take 20 percent off their dinner (food only) on Sundays at most locations.

Outback Steakhouse. Military personnel and veterans and their immediate families can take 10 percent off their entire check (excluding alcohol).

Red Lobster. Active-duty service members receive 10 percent off their meals on Military Mondays.

Texas de Brazil. Emergency medical personnel, firefighters, members of law enforcement, nurses, service members, veterans and teachers, along with three others in their party, get 15 percent off lunch and dinner prices.

Entertainment

Cinemark Theatres. Active-duty and retired military and their dependents may be eligible for a discount at the box office at certain times or on certain days. Call your theater for details.

Regal Cinemas. Active and retired military members qualify for a discount at some Regal locations. Call your local theater for details and availability.

SiriusXM. Active-duty, Reserves, retirees, veterans and their dependents may receive a 25 percent discount.

Vet Tix. Veterans, service members and Gold Star families can find free and discounted tickets to a variety of events.

Home and Technology

Apple. Active-duty, National Guard and Reserves service members, veterans and their families get 10 percent off products and accessories after verifying their military status with ID.me.

AT&T. Military and veteran families can receive a 25 percent discount when they get four phone lines.

Birch. Active-duty, veterans and their families get a one-time 15 percent discount.

Brooklyn Bedding. Current and former military members, immediate family and surviving spouses get 30 percent off and free shipping.

Embrace Pet Insurance. Active-duty service members and former military members get a 5 percent discount (may vary by state).

GelPro. Active-duty, Reserves, veterans and their dependents can take 25 percent off online purchases.

Home Depot. Active military, veterans and their spouses can take 10 percent off eligible items, up to $400 a year.

Joann. Veterans, active-duty service members and their dependents may take 15 percent off their purchases.

LinkedIn. Members of the military community are eligible for one year of free access to LinkedIn Premium and LinkedIn Learning.

Lowe’s. All military members and veterans get 10 percent off eligible purchases.

Microsoft. Active, former and retired military members and their families can take up to 10 percent off select products and services.

Motorola. Military members can take 10 percent off online purchases.

Pods. Verified military members can save 10 percent on moves or storage at participating locations. Use promocode SERV10.

Rosetta Stone. Active-duty and retired service members get 10 percent off after verifying their military service with ID.me.

Sherwin-Williams. Active-duty and Reserve service members, veterans and their spouses get 15 percent off paints, stains and supplies.

Targus. All members of the armed forces, including veterans and their dependents, can take 25 percent off their entire order.

T-Mobile. Discounted cellphone service plans are available for all military members, veterans and Gold Star family members, starting at $25 a line when you buy four lines.

U.S. Cellular. Veterans and active-duty military members can take 15 percent off calling plan charges, single lines or family plans.

Verizon Wireless and Fios. Military members and veterans may qualify for up to 25 percent off a variety of phone plans and other discounted rates on Fios home internet.
