AARP membership. Active-duty service members, retired military and veterans receive up to a 30 percent discount off an annual AARP membership.

1-800-Flowers. Military members, veterans and family get 20 percent off of flowers and gift baskets.
Allen Edmonds. Students, veterans and active military receive 15 percent off at the shoe retailer after military service verification through ID.me.

Tip: Even if you don't see your favorite places listed here, they may have military, senior or veterans discounts.
• Low-key reductions. Some businesses don't advertise their deals.
• Local markdowns. Others may be franchises of national chains that offer price cuts locally but not as part of an across-the-board program.
• What is ID.me? The website says it meets federal standards for identity verification. Put in your information once, and after it's assessed, you don't have to re-enter the info again wherever this service is used.
BJ's Wholesale. All active and military personnel receive more than 25 percent off a new membership, plus a $10 coupon with identification and enrollment in automatic renewal.
Costco. Upon becoming a new member, active or retired military members and their spouses or dependents receive coupons for free products and other savings valued at $60.
Fred Meyer. Current military members, veterans and their families are eligible for an extra 10 percent off private label goods, including Fred Meyer, Kroger and Simple Truth, at the grocer in four western states.
Kohl's. Active military, veterans and their families can receive 15 percent off in stores on Military Mondays.
Lululemon. Service members, military spouses and first responders receive 25 percent off with their government IDs.
Rack Room Shoes . Every Tuesday — plus Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veterans Day — military personnel and their families get 10 percent off their entire in-store purchase.
Sam's Club. Active or retired military personnel and their spouses will receive a $10 gift card when they join or renew their membership.
Timberland. Military members can save 20 percent on their online and in-store orders once service has been verified.
Williams-Sonoma. Military personnel and their families get 10 percent off electronics and 15 percent off everything else in the store.
Yeti. Discounts are offered to current service members, first responders, government employees and veterans on select products after verification through ID.me.
Car and auto service
Advance Auto Parts. Active-duty and reserve military, plus veterans with at least 20 years of service or receiving Veterans Affairs benefits, and their immediate family can take 10 percent off regularly priced items in stores.
Anthem Off-Road. All active-duty service members and veterans get 15 percent off any regularly priced Anthem wheels, including custom drill fees and replacement plans.
Avis. Veterans and active military save up to 25 percent on base rates on rental vehicles after enrolling in the Veterans Advantage program.
BMW. USAA members are eligible for special offers to lease or purchase a new BMW.
Budget. Enroll in Veterans Advantage to receive up to 25 percent off car rentals.
Geico. Active-duty, National Guard, Reserves or retired military receive a 15 percent discount on insurance premiums. Members of select military associations also can get the discounts.
Honda. Active-duty military, veterans and their spouses can receive a $500 discount toward any 2018 or newer vehicle when financed or leased through Honda, and when they are within one year of separation from active service.
Jeep. Active-duty service members, retired military or honorably discharged veterans within 12 months of separation are eligible for a $500 military bonus when a 2018 or newer vehicle is purchased or leased.
Jiffy Lube. Active and retired members of the armed forces may take 25 percent off most services.
O'Reilly Auto Parts. Active-duty, Reserve, retired and veteran service members, plus immediate family, get 10 percent off in-store purchases with the exception of antifreeze, motor oil and sale items.
Penske. All military personnel and veterans can use the promo code MILITARY to receive a 10 percent discount off moving truck rentals. The company also has a phone line for do-it-yourself military moves at 844-487-6677 (844-4TROOPS).
Toyota. All military personnel, retirees and veterans within two years of discharge can take advantage of a $500 military discount toward any purchase or lease made through Toyota Financial Services.
Volkswagen. First responders, service members and those within two years of discharge can receive $500 toward the lease or purchase of a new VW.
Hometown Buffet/Old Country Buffet/Ryan's. Active-duty, Reserve or retired service members receive 15 percent off all week long. On Mondays, veterans and up to three family members also can enjoy the offer.
Houlihan's. Active-duty military and veterans receive 15 percent off dine-in and carry-out food all year.
Logan's Roadhouse. Most locations offer active-duty service members and veterans a 10 percent discount on meals.
Red Lobster. Active-duty service members receive 10 percent off their meals on Military Mondays.
Texas de Brazil. Emergency medical personnel, firefighters, law enforcement, nurses, service members, veterans and teachers get 20 percent off lunch and dinner prices, along with three others in their party.
Cinemark Theatres. Active duty, retired, and dependents may be eligible for a discount at the box office at certain times or on certain days. Call your theater for details.

Verizon Fios. Active-duty, National Guard, Reserves service members and veterans can get up to $120 off a year, depending on the plan.

24 Hour Fitness. Active-duty and Reserve military, firefighters, paramedics, police and their spouses can qualify for no initiation fee and get $5 off monthly dues.
AC Lens. Active-duty, Reserves or retired military get a 10 percent discount on many contact lenses. Use the promo code MILITARY at checkout.
Atkins. Active-duty service members, first responders and veterans can get 15 percent off bars, shakes and snacks.
AT&T. Military and veteran families can receive a 25 percent monthly plan discount and may qualify for a free iPhone 8 in November 2019.
Eyemart Express. Active-duty service members, retired military, veterans and their dependents receive a 20 percent discount.

Verizon Wireless. Military, veterans and their families can qualify for a 15 percent discount on some phone plans and get 25 percent off some accessories.
Amtrak. Active-duty military personnel, veterans and their dependents can receive 10 percent off the lowest available rail fare on most Amtrak trains. Uniformed members are welcome at the head of the ticket line.
Beaches by Sandals. Current and former military, Federal Emergency Management Agency employees, firefighters and police save 10 percent after purchasing an all-inclusive vacation, applicable only to one room.
Best Western. Government personnel, military service members and veterans receive a minimum 10 percent discount at hotels and resorts across North America.
Carnival Cruise Lines. Active and retired military can check Carnival's calendar to find best military fares, reduced deposits and upgrades.
Disney Cruise Line. Special rates for one stateroom are offered on select cruises to active-duty and retired military personnel.
Disneyland / Disney World. Active-duty, National Guard, Reserves and retired military personnel can buy discounted park tickets. The Commissioned Corps National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Public Health Service employees also are eligible.
Great Wolf Lodge. Active-duty or retired military, emergency medical services personnel, firefighters and law-enforcement officers save up to 30 percent with the promo code HEROES.
Hyatt Hotels. Military personnel, government employees, defense and some other government contractors can select “government” from the special rates drop-down menu in the booking window for special deals.
Motel 6. Active or retired military personnel and their families can save up to 10 percent at all Motel 6 and Studio 6 locations.
Royal Caribbean. Military personnel, firefighters, police and seniors are offered discounted fares available on select trips.
SeaWorld. Its Waves of Honor programs in Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego allow active-duty, National Guard and Reserve personnel free admission once a year with up to three dependents. Veterans discounts vary among SeaWorld locations.
Universal Studios, Hollywood, California. Active-duty, National Guard, Reserves and retired military personnel, as well as 100 percent disabled veterans and their spouses or dependents, can receive a $3 discount on general admission.
