While National Taco Day does not land on taco Tuesday this year, Wednesday’s silver lining is free tacos — or very budget-friendly tacos. Whether you like them crunchy or soft, here’s where you can find some taco freebies and deals for National Taco Day.

Chuy’s

Yes, you are seeing walking tacos. Go to any Chuy’s dressed like a taco, take a picture and post your photo on social media using #ChuysTacoDay. You’ll get a free taco and maybe some giggles and stares. You can also add a ground beef taco to any entree for $1 and get their “floaters” (margaritas) for $1.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

If you’re a rewards member, you’re in luck: You can get two free tacos on Wednesday. If you’re not a rewards member, tacos won’t set you back too much: Tacos are $1.50 all day.

Moe’s Southwest Grill

Make a purchase at Moe’s on Wednesday and get a free Eggo taco, their new taco experiment. It’s a fried waffle shell with adobo chicken, crispy bacon, shredded cheese and chipotle ranch. This offer is for Moe’s locations in Atlanta, northern New Jersey, Long Island and South Florida and only while supplies last.

Taco Bueno

Taco Bueno will offer an unlimited buy-one, get-one-free deal on its Party Taco.

Taco John’s

If you’re a Taco John’s rewards member, you get a free Taco Bravo with any purchase. (The Taco Bravo takes tacos to the next level by spreading refried beans on a warm, soft tortilla and wrapping it around the classic taco.) The taco chain will also be observing the deal for all taco Tuesdays through October.

Rubio’s

If you’re making a Rubio’s run on Wednesday, you can get one of its a-la-carte tacos free with your purchase. Use the code TACO when ordering on the app or online or scan this QR code to redeem your free taco.

Taco Bell

You can get a free taco every day when you sign up for Taco Bell’s Taco Lover’s Pass for $10. Once enrolled, you can get one choice of eight tacos a day for 30 consecutive days.

Starting Oct. 12, Taco Bell will also offer a Breakfast Taco (including scrambled eggs and the choice of sausage, bacon or crispy breakfast potatoes) on the menu for $1.49. Once available, you can also start ordering this option with your Taco Lover’s Pass.

On the Border

The Mexican casual dining chain will have specials on tacos and beer. On Wednesday its classic tacos are $2, bottled beer is $3 and both the Southwest chicken tacos and the brisket tacos will be $4. If you’re ordering for a larger party and spend at least $150, you can get 15 percent off when you book online through Oct. 8 with the code NTD23.

Del Taco

Del Taco has deals all month long for its Tacoberfest. Each Wednesday in October, you can purchase a bundle of five snack tacos for $3. Here are some of the deals you can also find through Oct. 7, according to a spokesperson:

Add guacamole to any taco for free; get a free grilled Chicken del Carbon taco with any purchase; get a free The Del Taco with a $3 purchase and a free beer-battered crispy fish taco with a $5 purchase.

Qdoba

If you’re a rewards member, you can get twice the points on Wednesday, or two points for every dollar spent. When you hit 125 points, you get a free entree.
