Trader Joe’s recalled two of its cookie products after a supplier alerted the grocery chain that they may contain rocks.
The grocer, which has over 500 stores across the U.S., warned customers to throw out the cookies or return them for a full refund. However, there were no reports of anyone finding rocks in the cookies or of any adverse health effects from eating them.
The recalled products are:
All potentially affected products in stock have been removed from sale and destroyed.

A separate recall was issued a week earlier on Trader Joe’s Soft Baked Snickerdoodle Cookies because pieces of hard plastic may have contaminated the product. The manufacturer, Enjoy Life Natural Brands LLC, recalled 13 additional cookie products sold at other retailers for the same reason.
In June, frozen fruit sold at Trader Joe’s and other retailers was recalled as a result of two large contamination events .
