What to Watch on the Hallmark Channel in 2025

You don’t have to wait until Christmas to get that warm, wonderful Hallmark feeling

If you think of the Hallmark Channel only at Christmastime, you’re missing out on year-round original entertainment. No matter the time of year, Hallmark brings the same heartwarming, feel-good vibes to its audience.

As summer turns to fall, the much-anticipated second season of The Chicken Sisters premieres on Hallmark August 10. It’s followed by a slate of “Summer Nights” movies and a new three-part series that will satiate fans of The Way Home until its next season arrives in 2026. Then the fall movies will wrap up with a Halloween film featuring some of your favorite neighbors from a popular Christmas franchise.

Here are the Hallmark movies and series you shouldn’t miss over the next few months.

The Chicken Sisters

A generations-long feud between Mimi’s and Frannie’s fried chicken restaurants was just about put to rest in Season 1 as the families used their appearance on the reality show Kitchen Clash to merge into the Chicken Sisters restaurant. In Season 2, Frank Jr. (James Kot) launches a rival restaurant, Mr. Chicken’s Cluckery, right on Main Street, which ignites new drama. There’s a wedding on the horizon, a mysterious new man in town and plenty of gossip to keep everyone in Merinac clucking.

Providence Falls

Fans of the Hallmark Channel original series The Way Home won’t want to miss the new three-part series Providence Falls, a classic tale of forbidden love with a time-bending twist. In 1844 Ireland, rogue and thief Liam O’Conner (Lachlan Quarmby) and Cora McLeod (Katie Stevens), an aristocrat’s daughter, try to run away to America together, but when things go awry, everyone is forced to relive events from the past. Liam has now been transported to present-day Oregon, where he must help an unknowing Cora fall in love with Finn, the man she was supposed to marry in 1844. With the fate of his soul at risk, Liam is sent to be her new partner on the police force to achieve this task, but the biggest obstacle of all might be his love for her.

Mystery Island: Play for Keeps

The third installment of the Mystery Island movie series reunites criminal psychiatrist Dr. Emilia Priestly (Elizabeth Henstridge) and detective Jason Trent (Charlie Weber) back at the murder-mystery-themed resort. This time, there’s a corporate retreat on the island, and Emilia’s ex-fiancé is one of the attendees. Emilia will have to navigate old feelings and new tensions when a guest is found dead and suspicion turns her way.

Double Scoop

Nora (Taylor Cole) and James (Ryan McPartlin) used to be quite the team when they worked together at a top New York ad agency. Unfortunately, when they run into each other again, they’re competing for the business of a small-town dairy farm with amazing ice cream. Tensions are heating up, but so are the sparks.

Catch of the Day

Sophie (Emilie Ullerup) is a rising star on the culinary scene in Manhattan, on the verge of being named executive chef at a high-end restaurant. When her sister calls to say their family’s seafood restaurant in Montauk, New York, is in danger, Sophie returns home for a short visit that becomes something more, as she rediscovers her culinary roots and a second chance with her teenage crush, Cam (Michael Rady), who is now a local fisherman. Real-life culinary personality Katie Lee Biegel cowrote and produced the film and also has pivotal cameo in the movie.

Haul Out the Halloween

Haul Out the Holly fans, you’re getting a Halloween installment this year! Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, Melissa Peterman and more are returning to Evergreen Lane this fall, and they’re being joined by Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz from the Halloweentown franchise.

Baked With Love: Holiday

Ten talented pairs of home bakers will face off in Hallmark’s new baking competition series. Each pair will bring their cultural heritage, personal touches and family recipes to the table as they hope to be crowned the Christmas Baking Champions and win $50,000. Host Tamera Mowry-Housley will be joined on the panel of judges by Irish chef and restaurateur Anna Haugh and New York Times cooking expert Vaughn Vreeland.

Christmas at Sea

During Hallmark’s Christmas in July, the network premiered a new four-part docuseries, Christmas at Sea, following superfans of the channel on its inaugural Christmas cruise from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas. There’s a surprise proposal and wedding, a 16th birthday celebration, best friends on a girls’ trip and more.

Unwrapping Christmas

Four new interconnected Unwrapping Christmas movies debuted during Christmas in July on the Hallmark Channel: Tina’s Miracle, Mia’s Prince, Lily’s Destiny, and Olivia’s Reunion. Each film focuses on a different woman who works at a gift-wrapping shop, All Wrapped Up, and her journey to finding love. The movies all take place during a short period, wrapping up (pun intended) at the Christmas gala.
