Michael J. Fox, 52, returns to prime time this season with The Michael J. Fox Show. Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad) plays his wife. The actor's real-life wife of 25 years, Tracy Pollan, 53, will appear on the show, too — in a guest spot as his sexy next-door neighbor.

Kerry Washington's Scandal is must-see TV for many grownups. The Marchesa-clad 36-year-old — named the best-dressed woman of 2013 by People magazine — was nominated as a lead actress and teamed as a presenter with the ever-stunning Diahann Carroll. (See the next slide.)

When Diahann Carroll, 78, took the stage with Kerry Washington, the website Gawker tweeted to viewers who'd never heard of the veteran TV star or her groundbreaking series, Julia: "For those frantically Googling, the woman you want to be when you grow up is named Diahann Carroll."
