About Me

I am a recent AARP member and a proud fifty-two year old who sees experience in life as a treasure not a liability. I am a Liberal political activist and semi-retired from a career in the audio and video production industries. I have experience with private health care insurers and know all about the "freedom" they afford you in treatment, drugs and pre-existing conditions.

It is my belief that America is controlled for the most part by a few wealthy corporate interests and that opinion, consent and information is fully controlled by those who own the media distribution outlets. Money rules over all else and this travesty against freedom is sold and marketed as "freedom" in a classic Orwellian theme.

The Internet remains the last truly democratic medium for the sharing of information and yes, even propaganda but at least YOU decide.

Before you continue take the... Right Winger IQ test: What is wrong with these statements?

1. I don't want the government getting its hands on my Medicare.

2. I was on Welfare and Food Stamps... anybody help me out? No, no!.
-Craig T. Nelson, Glenn Beck Show, Fox "News"

Interests:
I am a musician, playing guitar and drums. I write and record my own music and produce a weekly Radio broadcast and podcast for InYourFaceRadio.net as well as videos for my YouTube Channel. http://YouTube.com/TheFrankFactor

To those following my posts on the Health Care Propaganda thread, I am not a paid anything, I am not a member of a PAC or any other vested interest group. I am an American with a chronic illness that wants to see health care reform not only or particularly for me but for others who suffer.

My targets are many but three are primary:

1.) Corporate bribery and coercion of our elected officials

2.) The propaganda that those who suck at the teat of those same corporations spew.

3.) Stop hating the government! The government is OUR business and WE have failed to manage it properly and WE have to fix it. I suggest we start with campaign reform and the abolishing of corporate lobbying.

For the most part the arguments here are based on fear mongering propaganda that distracts from real issues and protects corporations . Time and time again bullies, hacks and liars are exposed, yet fear and anger prevent potentially rational people from making an informed decision.

There are no "death panels".

There is no euthanasia.

End of life counseling is NOT mandatory.

End of life counseling actually ALLOWS YOU TO DIRECT YOUR CARE GIVERS TO DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO KEEP YOU ALIVE. Think of Terry Schiavo.

Lies and fabrications are intended, not to help YOU but to help preserve profits for those who could be held accountable for their poor management and greedy profiteering. The anti-reform propaganda you hear is meant to hurt you not help you.

Think about it: Those who fight to make you hate the government and turn over your power to huge corporations have a lot to preserve and it's not your best interest!

I enjoyed reading your profile. I am so hearing you. It is going to be interesting to see where our country goes with prejudice still so prevalent. It absolutely amazing me that people do not want to read or hear the facts and would rather listen to total clowns like Glenn Beck

There is Hope

Rasmussen poll 9/2/09

A Month-by-Month Review of the President?s ratings shows that the Presidential Approval Index served as a leading indicator by declining months before the President?s overall job approval ratings fell.
Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove.

We may not go socialist.

AARP should start looking for a new project to push. Wait I have an idea how about caring for seniors and keep selling Medicare Advantage to help the masses you are committed to.

There are an average of 26000 Medicare advantage members in each congressional district when they cancell this program you can kiss most of the dems voting for this cut goodbye. If you think you have been F___rd by the system, wait until socialist get a od of your derrier.
