AARP Encouraged by HHS Rule on Health Coverage Summaries
WASHINGTON— AARP Senior Vice President Joyce Rogers issued the following statement in response to today’s release by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services of a final coverage summary rule.
“All Americans should have clear and accessible information about their health insurance coverage to make the best possible decisions for themselves and their families. AARP is encouraged by today’s announcement and looks forward to continued conversations around developing these tools to provide consumers with a better understanding of their health insurance coverage.”
