AARP and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are excited to present a one-day, in-person conference titled Emergency Savings: Where We Are and the Way Forward.
Please mark your calendar for October 10 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a reception to follow at AARP’s downtown Washington, DC office.
The event will bring together policymakers, regulators, academic experts, retirement service providers, employers, and advocacy organizations to discuss policy and industry solutions to expand emergency savings. The sessions will cover employer and service provider perspectives on workplace emergency savings solutions, new research on the impact of emergency savings on financial security, and policy discussions on making emergency savings accessible to all Americans.
