AARP Hearing Center
The AARP Roadmap to Livability collection answers three key questions:
1. What influences local advocates and municipal leaders to improve the livability of their community?
2. What are the commonalities in approach across communities working toward greater livability?
3. What’s the best way to measure success and outcomes?
The introductory publication — Book 1 — provides broad guidelines and examples (i.e., best practices) for integrating livability principles into a community.
Each workbook in the series, which was created in 2017 but contains guidance and examples that remain relevant today — provides planning tools to help complete a livability project.
The focus of the entire series is on creating a strong plan that will guide implementation.
Whether a community is beginning to look for opportunities to improve or already has a project (or projects) in mind, the AARP Roadmap to Livability can help. Use the complete series of step-by-step guides or select the needed titles.
