About the Presenter

Jordan S. Yin is the author of Urban Planning for Dummies, a leading advocate for community involvement in urban planning, and an enthusiast of all things local. He is a faculty member in the Department of Community and Regional Planning at Alabama A&M University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Yin received his master's and doctoral degrees in city and regional planning from Cornell University.
