The overall experience at bus stops and transit stations affect how a community views and uses public transit. Working through a series of transit transformation projects (with AARP funding in 2017, 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025) Citizens for Modern Transit improved transit locations by adding seating, shelters, landscaping and placemaking elements.
