    Turkey Meatloaf

    You can stretch your food dollar — and eat well, too.

    A budget-friendly, low-sodium, heart healthy recipe from the National Institutes of Health.

    1 pound lean ground turkey
    1/2 cup regular oats, dry
    1 large egg, whole
    1 tablespoon onion, dehydrated flakes
    1/4 cup ketchup*

    Combine all ingredients and mix well.

    Bake in a loaf pan at 350 °F for 25 minutes or to an internal temperature of 165 °F.

    Cut into five slices and serve.

    * To reduce sodium, use low-sodium ketchup. New sodium content for each serving is 74 milligrams.
