Video 1: Age-Friendly Network Training

An introduction for states and communities enrolled (or considering enrollment) in the AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities

This is the first in a series of six videos about the process of making a community more "age-friendly" by joining the AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities

This video (or module) provides an overview about the increasingly aging population of the United States, defines what age-friendly means and explains how a state or community joins the network and what its obligations are as a member.

The video also includes an introduction to the "8 Domains of Livability," which is a framework that's often used to organize and prioritize a community's age-friendly work.
