We are evolving the AARP Employer Pledge!
Since 2012, the AARP Employer Pledge has united a nationwide group of employers who stand with AARP in affirming the value of older workers and celebrating all five generations in today's workforce. Since its inception, over 3,000 organizations have signed the pledge to confirm their commitment to equal opportunity for all workers regardless of age.
As the AARP Employer Pledge has grown, it has evolved to be more interactive, and surfaced new ways for us to engage with member companies as well as provide resources and programming that help organizations build age-friendly workplaces. We are currently working on reflecting that evolution in a new program — the AARP Employer Alliance.
The AARP Employer Alliance is a program designed to help employers attract, retain, and support employees over 50, while unlocking the full value of a multigenerational workforce. It is also a community that comes together to network, share resources, and help each other solve challenges.
This tier is for those who are ready to assess their current practices, expand their understanding, and become part of a community dedicated to progress.
This tier is for those actively practicing—or immediately prepared to implement—policies that create multigenerational workforces where all ages thrive. Joining this tier signals that an organization has verified its commitment to real, measurable change.
