The AARP Volunteer Portal is an online platform that supports the work of committed volunteers across AARP’s volunteer programs. This interactive hub allows volunteers to engage fully with AARP staff and other volunteers from the comfort of their home, or the convenience of their office, by providing a one-stop shop for getting everything done. Whether you’re submitting requests for reimbursements, reviewing volunteer resources and materials, or engaging in real-time chats with volunteer colleagues from across the nation, you can do it all from this secure digital platform. Please note: You must first register and then log in to access all of the features of the Volunteer Portal.
Who can use the Volunteer Portal?
The AARP Volunteer Portal is accessible to all active AARP volunteers. If you are not an active AARP volunteer or are unsure of your status, please contact your AARP volunteer program lead.
How to access the portal
If you are a current volunteer, you can access the portal here: volunteers.aarp.org.
To ensure the best user experience, volunteers are encouraged to access the Volunteer Portal through Google Chrome. You can also use other internet browsers, including Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Safari.
Note: Internet Explorer is not a compatible option for accessing the Volunteer Portal.
Each first-time Volunteer Portal user will receive an email invitation directly from the volunteer program on how to access the Volunteer Portal. If you have not received this notification and are a new AARP volunteer, please reach out to your volunteer supervisor for assistance. You will not be able to access the Volunteer Portal for the first time without the invitation email.
After your first registration and login, you cannot access the Volunteer Portal through the link in your email invitation. Returning users can navigate to the Volunteer Portal by visiting the website, volunteers.aarp.org. To log in, you will only need the email address you used to register with AARP along with your secured password.
