How AARP Refer a Friend Deal Works

The referred individual must join or renew through the link sent in the email for you to earn award credit. Award will be applied to your membership within 30-45 days after a referred individual joins and remains in good standing. Your email invitation will contain your first name and will be sent unless the individual has opted out of receiving emails from AARP.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Reset your password by going to the password reset page and following these steps:

  1. Enter the email address that you used at registration
  2. Answer the security challenge by typing in the moving letters
  3. Click the Reset button
  4. You will receive an email with the subject line: "Reset Your AARP.org Password." It may take a few minutes for the email to arrive in your inbox
  5. Open the email and click on the Reset Your Password button
  6. After that, enter your new password twice and click Create. You'll then be taken to the aarp.org login page, where you can log in with your email and new password
