Connecting Neighbors to COVID Resources

As soon as the pandemic hit, the Latin American Community Center knew it needed to begin outreach efforts to ensure that Delaware’s Latino communities, which include many essential workers, received information about staying safe. Pop-up testing and vaccination sites reached many in the community. The AARP Community Challenge grant also helped with programs connecting residents to food and rent or mortgage relief. This video features health workers talking about how the plan came together.
